A programme can stay on time and still feel difficult to attend. The run of show has to account for what happens around the agenda as carefully as what appears on it.
Plan arrival as part of the programme
Registration, security, wayfinding, waiting, and the first view of the room establish the pace before anyone reaches a seat. Give these moments owners, timings, and fallback decisions.
Test what every seat can see and hear
Stage height, screen placement, lighting positions, camera lines, and sound coverage should be reviewed together. A beautiful stage is not successful if a large part of the room cannot follow the content.
Write transitions, not only sessions
Walk-ons, award handovers, video playback, meal service, room resets, and departures need cues of their own. Naming the transition owner prevents the most visible pauses from becoming last-minute decisions.
